Beamer - We're back and today we interview one of SCD's newest GMs, Ray. Welcome...Question 1. How do you see your Islanders stacking up this year in SCD?
Ray - The middle of the pack right now. I usually do well at some FA pickup of good fill players
Beamer - For sure...nice to see the free agent class wasn't as pricey as in past seasons. Hard to take on a new franchise in an established league but I think you have some good pieces to work with. Question 2. The GM that brought you into SCD was Will ..our most recent SCD Champion. How badly do you want to beat this guy and the other GMs in this 31 team dynasty league?
Ray - Well Will is also the most recent Champion in our other hockey fantasy league that we met in. I play to win and will work hard to win it all over the coming years. As for Will good guy that plays hard without drama (problems) and he is the one out front that we all are chasing. There are a few other really good teams also.
Beamer - Yep...we're all looking at cutting Will down.....at least he's only won a single championship here.....a multitude of GMs here wanna take him down much like you do....all great to see! Question 3. If you were an animal/a can of soup/some other random object, which one would you be and why you chose that.
Ray - A lion as they take their food mostly from the other animals lol. Just love the whole thing watch natural shows about Lions. Not my sorry Detroit Lions the real Lions of the wild. I’m from Detroit so I get to talk about them.
Beamer - Oof.....those Lions....better avoid chatting to Vegas Andy or the Mighty Buffalo GMs...they'd both be in your grill about something NFL Lion related. As for the animal...nothing ever wrong being the King of the Jungle. Question 4. What would be your weapon of choice in a zombie apocalypse and why choose that weapon?
Ray - The Walking Dead’s Daryl Crossbow as it just looks cool shooting it.
Beamer - Pretty much any weapon would be good in my books....I hate Zombies..... Final question.... You are trapped on a life raft with a nun, an old man and a baby. There is only room for three of you, and you must decide who you throw off the raft. Who do you choose any why?
Ray - No way the old man would have to hold the baby and me and the nun would take turns in the water holding onto the raft. And whoever is on the raft for their turn will pray nothing eats who is in the water lol.
Beamer - Like alligators and piranhas.....they'd probably pick the Nun to join them if they had a choice. She'd pray and would be at peace for whatever fate awaited all 4 of the boat occupants. Anyways, best of luck in SCD this year on your maiden voyage.
