Beamer - Welcome Jeremy to your interview. Question 1. What's your team's expectations for this coming season in SCD. Any gems you have that you think will flourish?
Jeremy - I really don’t see us competing this year, we are looking to rebuild this franchise. Hopefully we will be competitive in a couple of years, but it’s a little bit of a process
Beamer - Fair enough....like the GM Plant, sometimes you gotta rip apart a good vehicle to make it better. Question 2. Who do you see as the Cup finalists in both SCD and IRL NHL?
Jeremy - I could see Tampa Bay making another good run, irl, out in the West, I’m gonna say the sharks. In this league I’ll say Hurricanes will be back in it, and the Kings out west look very competitive
Beamer - Oof....that takes the wind out of my sails, but at least the pressure is off my team now. On to Question 3. Who's the greatest Red Wing of all time from the 80's on......Lidstrom or Yzerman?...and why do you think that?
Jeremy - Tough choice, but I was always a fan of Yzerman. So I’ll go with him. Yzerman was absolutely awesome, very clutch guy, Lindstrom obviously was really good as well, but like I said, I’ve always been an Yzerman fan.
Beamer - Yah...tough call being a fan of both...but yes, Stevie Y would take it for me too. Question 4 - what did you do the night you heard that Whitney Houston died?
Jeremy - Nothing out of the ordinary, she was too young though. I do remember thinking that.
Beamer - Well, I do know for a fact that few GMs here had an open sob session and shared their favorite memories and songs in chatango... may she RIP. Final question...How many bowls of cereal do you eat a day, and why aren't you eating more???
Jeremy - I haven’t been eating much cereal lately, when I do, I usually have 2 bowls, which is plenty
Beamer - Oh man....when I was in the US last month....couldn't stop eating the sugar laden Apple Jack's, Sugar Smacks , etc....probably had like 6 bowls a day.... anyways....bestbof lickin your season and the rebuild Wings
