These are based on overall stats from last yr, with some slight projections. No schedule added in this, since they will be changing.

Honestly top 2 can go any directions, Flames have a slight edge on Center and Forward Stats but Blues make up for it with strong Def stats. This will be a neck and neck fight all season. Biggest reason I put flames first is with Blues having lost Berglund till around December, that gives Flames a bigger advantage.

East

Top 3 are all very close and while I did give the edge to Rangers, simply for there depth numbers as well, Flyers can hold there own strictly from active squad, but both Flyers and Lightning are weaker on depth side and Flyers get the advantage over Lightning due to slightly stronger defense.
